Her story
Setara has now lost more than two years of secondary school: years that were supposed to hold chemistry, literature, and a graduation.
She runs a one-room school at home for her younger sisters, teaching what she remembers before she forgets it. She keeps a list of the subjects she is owed.
A sponsorship gives her back a real classroom. Remote, but real: a curriculum, a teacher, and classmates, for $30 a month.
