The story

For a girl in Afghanistan, applying to college is terrifying. Finding programs that will take her, essays in a second language, visas, travel, money: any one step can end the whole thing. And she is doing it from a country where school itself is banned.

Zar’s Stars takes every student, whatever she wants to study. We walk her through the entire process, start to finish. We help her find the right programs, apply to them, and get in. Then we help her get there, get settled, and start studying with a roof over her head and people in her corner. She never takes a step alone.

    Getting her there and getting her settled: travel, paperwork, and a stable place to study healthily.
